RANGE USE NOTICE & SCHEDULE
In order to safely & fairly accommodate the use of our Club’s various ranges by all our members, we have developed this Range Use Schedule effective immediately. Until further notice, we are implementing separate use times for the archery/pistol/trap/100-yard ranges grouped together and for the 200-300-yard rifle ranges as another group.
Specifically, from 7AM – 11AM on Sundays &Tuesdays and from 4PM - Sunset on Thursdays, only the 200-300-yd range may be used – all other range use is prohibited/closed during these times. At any time other than the preceding times, the 200-300-yd range will be closed and the other ranges (archery/pistol/trap/100-yd) will be open for use. When using the 200-300-yd range, remember to close the “safety gate” across the driveway below the Main Clubhouse. If this gate is closed (indicating range in use), other members wishing to also use only the 200-300-yd range may cross the gate, close it behind them and safely approach the benches to join the firing line.
Note: All ranges have limited firing positions. Monopolization of any range by any person or group will not be tolerated. If a firing line is full and additional members wish to use it, then ALL members on that line/range will share it in rotating blocks of time not to exceed 60 minutes (or other mutually agreed upon arrangements), with guests yielding their position to members and joining their host member at their position.
Range Caliber Use & Restrictions: Our various ranges are designated for specific firearm & caliber usage based on backstop protections and must be strictly adhered to. See our Range Rules & Membership Requirements for additional range use information. No shooting anywhere on Club property except on designated ranges as follows:

- Upper Automatic Trap Range: Designated League & Club Trap Events ONLY.
- Archery Range: 10 – 40 yds. Bows & Crossbows only – NO FIREARMS ALLOWED.
- Handgun & Rimfire Range: 25 & 50 yds. Rimfire & handgun calibers ONLY (black powder handguns also OK). NO centerfire rifles, centerfire rifle-caliber handguns, shotguns or slug guns allowed on the Handgun Range!
- Lower Manual Trap Range: Shotguns only. General trap use & patterning (use your own targets & frames set on the trap range for patterning – do not use Club frames, Handgun Range or Rifle Range!).
- 100-Yard Rifle: 100 yds. with 25 & 50 yd. sight-in. Centerfire rifles, centerfire rifle-caliber handguns, slug guns & black powder only. NO shotguns or other handguns allowed.
- 200-300-yard Rifle: High-power centerfire rifles, centerfire rifle-caliber handguns & slug guns only – all other firearms and calibers prohibited.
RANGE CLOSURES: From time to time and for certain Club events (Military League, Spring Shoot, Cannon Shoot, Fall Shoot, All-Around Shoot) the range may be CLOSED for shooting and general use. Flooding, unsafe conditions and maintenance activities may also necessitate full or partial range closures. Please be patient, respectful and above all else safe whenever on Club property or using our shooting ranges.
